Additional Airplane noise around South Minneapolis

Have you been noticing an increase in airplane noise in the neighborhood? You are not alone.

The Metro Airports Commission has started construction on one of the parallel runways and current flight traffic is being rerouted to alternate runways. This is creating the additional airplane noise.

The project is scheduled to be completed on May 23rd.
